“Battle at the Bay” Results/Photos and New Product

by on Mar.10, 2011, under Events, News, Products, Riders

The first annual “Battle at the Bay” went off without a hitch last weekend and was a blast to be a part of. Riders from across the Midwest competed in the expert division on Friday for the $300 first prize across four different obstacles, getting 7 tries on each. After all was said and done, contest-monster Lee Osterholt reigned on top, with Secret Spot riders Lance Wileski and Chris Andersen holding 2nd and 3rd place. We were lucky enough to be able to secure some awesome photos from the expert division from our good photographer/filmer friend Dan Moreno – check them out below! Rounding out those photos are some new wheels and trucks from Spitfire and Thunder. Come snag ‘em up as this weather gets warmer!

“Battle at the Bay” Contest

by on Mar.01, 2011, under Events, News, Riders

Now that the weather is finally making a turn for the better, we’ll begin to have much more consistent updates here on the site. You can also expect a full-scale remodeling of the site – featuring some new team riders – within the near future!

Though it’s somewhat of short notice, make sure you get out to Bay 198 skatepark in Lincoln this Friday and Saturday for their second full-park competition. This time around, we’ll be seeing shop riders from all across Nebraska compete in Friday’s expert division for their hand of the $300 first prize. Saturday brings the non-sponsored competition, with prizes for beginner, intermediate, and advanced divisions. Check the flyer below and make sure to come check out the contest! If you can’t make it, there will also be a live, online stream of the entire contest available at http://www.ustream.tv/channel/bay198-battle-at-the-bay-2011.
