Thanks to everyone who came out to our game of SKATE yesterday! After 60 skaters and some great match-ups, our final game consisted of four skaters. Four became three and three became two: flow rider Steven Kane and our friend Brandon J. Needless to say, the two fought it out for quite awhile, but Brandon came out on top. Our final four, in order of place, were as follows: Brandon J. (BJ), Steven Kane, John Pinning, and Aaron Pendergast. Thanks to Wiseguy for giving out some prizes to the final three.

Just a reminder to everyone that we’ll be having a little game of SKATE this Saturday from 4 to 8 P.M. JUST TO REITERATE, THIS IS NOT THE éS GAME OF SKATE! Our game of SKATE is free to enter, but spaces will be limited so that we’ll be able to have enough time to get through all the games. If you want to compete, please come as early as you can to sign in to ensure your spot in the game. A mystery prize will be rewarded for 1st place! This should definitely be a fun Saturday, so come out and join us even if it’s just to spectate!

Just as a reminder, we’ll be having free grip tape on new deck purchases all day this Wednesday. This includes all grip tape brands (i.e. Flik, Jessup, Mob, Black Magic) except custom sheets of colored grip tape. Make sure to stop by and take advantage of this special!

Also on Wednesday will be a meeting at the Embassy Suites downtown regarding whether or not the downtown master plan will include a new skatepark. If you’re able, please attend the meeting from 6 to 9 P.M. to voice your opinion as a skateboarder! Don’t let this great of an opportunity pass us by!

Although we had some troubles getting the May drawing started on time after Top Shop, we decided to go ahead and do a quick, week and a half long drawing for this month.
